We are just at the final stage of project 6 and have been delayed slightly due to the current weather condition in western Kenya. Below is the update from Br Salim who is overseeing the implementation of the project in Matungu.
Assalam alaykum,
Please find attached the pictures showing how work is progressing as regarding the Matungu shallow well. The well has been covered with concrete slab and due to the prevailing rainy season, it will take the contractors one week approximately to allow the slab to dry before they can fix the hand pump. We are looking forward to sending you the final pictures as soon as the well is ready after all work has been completed.
