Assalamu Aleikum,
InshaAllah we are all making the most of Ramadhan as it is a blessing to once again witness another Ramadhan.
We would like to send special thanks to all who have donated to the Ramadhan Food Program 2015. This has been our most successful year in fundraising for the event where amounts donated was 24,124.78 which is enough to feed over 300 families. MashaAllah. May Allah (SWT) accept from us all. Ameen.
Special thanks to:
- All our donors; may the reward of the 30 days fasting of each of those families be put on your scale of good deeds.
- Perth Ummah Centre and the Islamic Centre WA for organising the Walkathon 2015 promoting the Ramadhan Food Program 2015 and channelling donation to the program. JazakaAllah Kheir. May Allah (SWT) put blessing in all your future efforts in supporting community programs.
- The organisers of the ‘Sadaqa B BALL competition’ with proceeds from the competition going to this program. May Allah (SWT) will reward you abundantly and keep you healthy.
- And how would everyone know about this program if Allah (SWT) did not bless us with a team of volunteers who distributed the flyers. JazakaAllah Kheir. For everyone who you handed a flyer and they donated, you get a share in the reward. Amaizing isn’t it. InshaAllah you will find it in your scale of good deeds.
- There are many poor people in the world today and there are many who are able to help their fellow human beings in need. How blessed you are oh team at One Dollar Project. To be the bridge between these two, to be the starting point of this whole project. Because you are at the starting point you get a share of the reward of all. Hold tight to this project, ensure consistency in your effort, be transparent, report to your donors and at all cost guard this project for Allah (SWT) choose you to be a means to delivering the Rizk to these families. InshaAllah you will find your reward safe with Allah (SWT)
- Finally all the money in the world is useless without a proper team on the ground. Oh Park Road Youth Group how blessed you are. You actually get to break a sweat when lifting the food items, packing them into family portions and the best blessing of all deliver the food to the door step of the families in need. Oh what greater blessing is there than to see the fruits of your labour in this world through the joyful faces of the families and children when you deliver the food ration. InshaAllah the blessing in the next life is greater and safe guarded for you by Allah (SWT). Our advice to you is to treat each family with the atmost respect for it is not us helping them rather it is through them that our deed at taken from this life to the next.
