We have piped water.. but we don’t see much water
Have you ever heard this quote before? “One never knows the use of water until his tap runs dry”
Well the people in Swahilini Kisauni know the value of water as their taps have run dry.
Swahilini is a suburb with the boundaries of the city of Mombasa but lack a reliable source of water. It has piped water infrastructure installed but the locals inform us they are lucky if the get water twice in a month.
The people have to go in search of water and end up having to buy water from water vendors.
We are hoping to CHANGE THIS by drilling a borehole in a central area where anyone can collect water for FREE
One Dollar Project Inc has contracted Kheriat Develeopment Projectto drill the borehole.
